DINNER FAIL!

Tonight I tried fish sauce again. I've tried it before in various dishes and found that I didn't like it .Since I still have an entire bottle of it and can't seem to make myself throw it away, I decided to try it again. This time I tried it in a salad, though,  that I found in Bon Appetite. Yeah and I still don't like it not even a little bit. I couldn't even eat the salad. DINNER FAIL! I don't have these often but this was a definitely a fail for me. The hubbos loved it though and Funnily Cooper, he ate my entire bowl of cabbage, veggies, and green beans. Sorry no pic. It was beautiful, but so awful I couldn't even take a picture.
BUT the salad did have a few of my new favorite vegetables.
Daikon radishes. OH they are so good, kinda spicy, kinda sweet. I could eat these just like carrots.
Lemon grass! So good in salads, and marinades, I don't know why I never tried this before. But it has a lemony, oniony taste. SO GOOD!
anyways off to watch NCIS, my second favorite TV show during the week. Bones being first. My all time favorite TV show though is.....drum roll please....Doc Martin! Have you seen it? I love british humor! Really hilarious!
Tomorrow I have training with a gym trainer (I have no idea how to say this). My one and only session! I'm nervous. Someone looking at my weight and straight up judging it is irritating to me. I know it is all for good. But still irritating. I know they will be able to help me with my training and weight loss. But I am still nervous! Wish me luck!
What is some of your new favorite vegetables? Have you ever done training at a gym? Did it make you nervous? How did you handle it? Did you enjoy it?

Marie, I worked with a trainer for over a year. It was my one luxury, since weight training is COMPLETELY outside of my comfort zone. She ended up becoming a friend. There's no need to worry about being judged. They're there to help you get to where you want to be. Even if they take measurements (which is unlikely) it's for your information, not for them. Just remember that they are working for you! Have fun and enjoy the workout.

thanks for the advice! I'll try and keep that in mind when I am there.
